Right, first of all I want to rant at people who are apparently slating florences new video for Spectrum.

No.1 - What the hell! seriously. It hasn’t even come out yet and people are critising it saying it’s too much like ‘rihanna or katy perry’s. If you were a true florence fan, you would support how florence wants her own videos to be. Have you not seen the behind the scene video! She said it was one of the more light spirited songs, people seem to think ‘Florence welch, beautiful, amazing, but all of her songs and music videos have to be quite deep and dark’. Spectrum is a beautiful song, and it’s different to other songs because it’s bigger, and funner, and in the video you could see how much fun she was having filming it. Was she dancing about half naked? No. Was she singing about sex and boyfriends? No. Was she singing crap lyrics that she didn’t even write? No. Was she just standing there showing off her body? No. Florence was in a lovely silver like dress, with ballerinas and light and she may be a spectacular, mature, calm, gentle voiced young woman, but it doesn’t mean she can’t have a more fun, light hearted video compared to her others, which she believes has a deep meaning that people may not understand.

No 2. Plus, people aren’t sure about her hair. I think it looks amazing. It’s a wig okay everyone, she hasn’t changed her real hair, she made it look a bit different for her music video, it’s still red, still has a fringe, be real fans and support how brilliant she is and how much fun she’s having and how amazing the video will be!

I really want people to reblog this and get the message around. People say ‘let the haters hate’ but noone should be allowed to hate on Florence and her amazing band.
